KRIS BROOKMAN (Ernesto the
Troubadour) trained at The Arden School of Theatre,
Manchester. His stage roles include Goldman in The Golem (London
tour), Aaronovski in his own production of David's Shoes (Green Room,
Manchester), and Simple Simon in Frosty The Snowman (Hurricane
Productions). TV/films include a racist in Always and Everyone
(Granada TV), and Matador (Sky TV Educational). Kris lived in
Spain for many years, and toured there with Los Alegria Villajeros
Musical Street Theatre.

ROB DEWAN-SYED (Lascar
Sailor) was born in Bangladesh, where he made his first stage
appearance in 1979 as a dancer. Rob has a background in art
and design, having graduated as a graphic designer from the London
College of Communication. Rob exhibited sculpture
installations in the crypt of St Pancras Church in November
2004. "Travellers' Tales" is his first acting
role. "Acting is my passion," he says.

JULIAN FERRARETTO, Musical Director, arranges
music for BBC radio and the stage, and performs and records with the
Karen Lane Quintet, Stephanie Mair Quartett and Andrea Quintarelli
Quartett. He has played at the Greenwich and Southport Jazz
Festivals and in Spain and Denmark. For St Michael's Church,
Camden Town, Julian composes and arranges, and directs the Community
Renewal Music Project. Before arriving in London in 2002, he
lectured in Jazz History at the University of Adelaide and wrote
music scores for the State Theatre of South Australia.

WAYNE GIDDEN (Lord David
Pitt) has been singer/songwriter for Fried (Warners), Island
Records and The Lorax (Dr Seuss) and has frequently performed for
Island Videos and on numerous BBC radio and TV shows. He has
acted in Ernie's Incredible Illuminations (Birmingham Rep), in
Wanda's Visit (Baron's Court Theatre) and Crimewatch (BBC). At
Morley College, where he was solist for Gospel Chorale, he has
played Beau in Icarus, Stu in Stitching, and Torch in Beirut.
In Birmingham he had his own recording studio. Wayne has
toured internationally with rock groups.

ROB
INGLIS, writer and director, trained as a journalist in
Australia, and has written for stage, TV and radio. His
musicals include A Rum Do (Royal Command Performance,
Brisbane, 1970), 95 Men and a Nanny Goat (about James Cook's
voyages), Passionate Mr Handel (National Portrait Gallery),
and Jellicoe (Shaw Theatre 2003). He has acted with
Royal National, Cygnet, and RSC's Theatre of Cruelty.
His roles include Falstaff, Dr Faustus, doubling Ghost/Claudius
in Hamlet, and Mr Bumble in the first London season of
Oliver. He has toured internationally with solo shows,
including Lord of the Rings, which he recorded unabridged for
Harper Collins. He founded Jellicoe-Neville Performing
Arts in 2003.

ROLAND JOHN-LEOPOLDIE (Olaudah Equiano)
trained at the Acting Inernational School in Paris as well as the Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre. His stage roles include Pierre in Premier Armour (Onatti Theatre Company) The King in The Little Prince (Bury St Edmunds Theatre) and Pluto/Tribesman in L'anima del Filosofo (Royal Opera House). TV/Film credits include Guitar Man in Casualty (BBC), Leon in Credible Witness (BBC radio) and Bastid in Tout Contre (Dir: Patrick Grassier-Marin)

YASMINE MAYA (Beryl Gilroy) trained at Sylvia Young
School and The Actors' Centre. Her stage roles include Hermia in
Midsummer Nights' Dream (SMP), Cinderella (Chaplin Productions), Red (Red
Riding Hood), Mikki in One Night Only (True Colours) and Marigold in Big
Splash (Oily Cart). Film includes Emily in Lovefoot 32 (BBC), Trudie
in Tiads, Yardies and Onion Bhajes (Pulp Sanskrit Films) and Matron in Dr.
Chevrolais (Wild Iris). TV includes roles in Time Gentleman (Sky
One), Active Defendant (ITV) and Captain Cook (BBC).

ELIZABETH McCALL is a graduate of the Elder Conservatorium where she completed a bachelor of music in classical singing performance. Her operatic roles include "Second Woman" in Dido & Aeneas (University of Adelaide), understudies for "Giannetta" in "L'elisir d'amore" (Bel Canto Opera) and "Robber Girl" (Graham Dudley's "Snow Queen"). She was the principal performer in Aire Flamenco's adaptation of Bizet's "Carmen" whose
tour included the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Port Lincoln Mediterranean Festival and has also performed as a soloist for South Australia's "Concert in the
Park" series. Elizabeth recently starred in "Opera Cabaret" as part of the St Michael's Festival in Camden Town.

JUDITH QUIN (Siobhan).
After training at The Academy Drama School, Judith's roles have included
Viola in Twelfth Night (Grace Theatre), Julie Donaldson in Dead Sex (White
Bear), Luciana in Comedy of Errors (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival),
Joanna in Sweeney Todd (Man in the Moon), Kay Sadler in Whose Life is it
Anyway (Peacock, Woking), and numerous Theatre in Education tours.
Screen includes Alice Alloway (Flame TV for C4) and Mother in This Lie
(New York Film Academy). Judith travelled round the world for two
and a half years, during which she taught drama to aboriginal children in
Australia.
