Other performances were at Jellicoe Hall, Drummond Crescent at 7pm on Monday May 8, and at St Pancras Old Church, Pancras Rd, at 7pm on Saturday May 12. The show celebrates Mary Wollstonecraft, Mary Shelley (with excerpts from Frankenstein), and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson. There will be songs about Equiano, a Holborn resident who campaigned against the slave trade of which he had been a victim, and about King's Cross Station in the days of steam, and songs from "Jellicoe the Musical". From farther afield will come brief portrayals of Pilgrims in The Canterbury Tales, and a description of pilgrims on the Haj today because Musical Flying Squad are committed to "Cultural Interchange at King’s Cross". Shakespeare will describe timbers being dragged over the frozen Thames as he relocates his theatre, and in a comic song set to The Water Music, Handel will apologise to George I for his absence from court duties. The show is written and directed by Rob Inglis, who will perform excerpts from solo shows he has toured internationally. Musical arrangement and direction are by Bob Stuckey. Jo Martell, who played the lead in "Elizabeth Garrett Anderson", and actor/musician Roland John-Leopardie complete the team. The show was launched at Goldington Buildings on March 8 to stimulate a creative writing group which meets there monthly. The May performances will be aimed at stimulating similar workshops in other parts of Camden Central. The performance is supported by Awards for All and SPH Housing. Musical Flying Squad, the outreach team of Jellicoe-Neville Performing Arts, have based their productions on local history and positive role models from all cultures in their four years’ project "Performing Arts for Community Cohesion" Rob Inglis 27 Goldington Street, NW1
